SS 416 Hollow Bar contains iron, 12-14% chromium, 0.15% carbon, and trace amounts of manganese, silicon and sulfur. This grade has excellent corrosion resistance, especially in lightly corroded areas. Its mechanical properties include a tensile strength of 500-700 MPa, yield strength of 205 MPa, and a thickness of 50 mm.SS 416 has high hardness and excellent machinability with excellent stress and damage resistance.
