Stainless Steel 410 Flat Bar is primarily composed of iron, with 11.5–13.5% chromium for superior corrosion resistance. Small contents of carbon (0.08% max), manganese (1%), silicon (1%), and nickel (2%) are also present in it, which increase its hardness and strength. This grade is martensitic, providing excellent wear resistance and high tensile strength around 560 MPa. The material can be hardened through heat treatment and exhibits good machinability. The applications like valves, pumps, shafts require a good strength in a less corrosion condition with stainless steel 410 flat bars, where these have industrial as well as structural use.
