Stainless Steel 304L Flat Bars contain approximately 18-20% chromium and 8-10.5% nickel, which makes it have excellent corrosion resistance, formability, and weldability. Typical composition also contains carbon, manganese, silicon, and sulfur in trace amounts. The mechanical properties of SS 304 are tensile strength of 515-720 MPa, yield strength of 205 MPa, and elongation of 40%. It is very resistant to oxidation with a hardness level of around 217 HB; hence, it can be used for anything from food processing, the chemical industries, to architectural uses.
