The Copper C11400 Bars/Rods are made up of about 99.9% copper, with a slight addition of sulfur (around 0.02–0.04%) to boost machinability. This alloy is known for its high electrical and thermal conductivity while also being easier to machine. Although it can’t be heat treated, it can be cold worked to enhance its strength. The mechanical properties include a tensile strength ranging from 205 to 345 MPa, a yield strength of about 69 to 100 MPa, and an elongation of up to 45%, depending on the temper. These features make C11400 an excellent choice for applications that require both conductivity and precise machining without sacrificing the structural integrity of the component.
