Titanium Grade 11 is a commercially pure titanium alloy comparable to Grade 1, but with the inclusion of a small percentage of palladium (0.12–0.25%) for enhanced corrosion resistance, especially in reducing and acidic conditions. It possesses tensile strength of approximately 240–350 MPa with a yield strength of about 170 MPa, with an elongation of up to 24%. Grade 11 has superb ductility, weldability, and formability. The addition of palladium increases the resistance to crevice corrosion and pitting, rendering it appropriate for environments that would normally pose difficulties to unalloyed titanium grades.
