Semih Metals, Istanbul, Turkey, is a reliable manufacturer and supplier of Titanium Grade 7 forgings, providing superior quality titanium parts renowned for superior corrosion resistance and strength. With the latest forging methods and rigorous quality assurance, Semih Metals fabricates Grade 7 titanium forgings to international standards and for use in industries that demand robust materials in severe environments. The organization serves industries like chemical processing, marine, medical, and energy industries, offering forgings with strength, toughness, and superior resistance to hostile chemicals, providing long-lasting performance in severe applications.
Titanium Grade 7 forgings are produced from titanium alloyed with a minimum content of palladium (0.12–0.25%), which appreciably enhances corrosion resistance, particularly in reducing and acidic conditions. These forgings have tensile strengths of 344 to 450 MPa and yield strengths of approximately 275 MPa, with elongation to 20%. Forging refines the grain structure, which provides improved mechanical properties and toughness without loss of the good corrosion resistance characteristic of Grade 7 titanium. These forgings are also very weldable and formable, being well suited for complex and critical parts.

Yes, Titanium Grade 7 (Ti-0.2Pd) is highly corrosion-resistant, especially in harsh environments like seawater and acidic conditions, due to the addition of palladium, enhancing its ability to resist corrosion.
Titanium Grade 7 forgings are commonly used in industries like aerospace, chemical processing, marine, medical, and power generation due to their exceptional corrosion resistance, strength, and biocompatibility in challenging environments.
Titanium Grade 7 forgings are available in various sizes and shapes, including bars, billets, rings, discs, and custom configurations, typically ranging from small to large diameters for different industrial applications.
Titanium Grade 7 forgings are extensively applied where high corrosion resistance and strength are needed. They find application in chemical processing equipment such as heat exchangers, reactor vessels, and piping in contact with extremely corrosive or acidic environments. In marine service, Grade 7 forgings are applied to seawater-exposed parts needing toughness and resistance to crevice corrosion. They are also preferred in medical devices, desalination facilities, and power generation equipment, where long service life and good performance in hostile environments are essential.
