Stainless Steel XM19 Forgings, also called Nitronic 50, have a balanced mix of chromium, nickel, molybdenum, and nitrogen, which improves strength and corrosion resistance. They typically contain about 20 to 23% chromium, 11 to 13% nickel, 4 to 6% manganese, 1.5 to 3% molybdenum, and nitrogen for better toughness. XM19 has twice the yield strength of standard stainless steels while still being highly ductile and non-magnetic. It shows excellent resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and chloride stress cracking, even in tough environments. Its mechanical properties include high tensile strength, good impact resistance, and durability, making it a dependable forging material.
