The SS UNS N08904 Round Bars/Rod is high performance corrosion-resistant alloy made from Austenitic Stainless Steel. It contains about 23-28% Chromium, 4-5% Nickel, 1.5-2% Molybdenum, and has a Low carbon content. Making it highly resistant to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking in aggressive environments. The addition of copper up to 1-2% makes it more resistant to sulfuric acid and other acidic compounds. This alloy also provides excellent weldability, formability and strength. Making it suitable for applications in chemical processing, petrochemical industries and marine environments where high corrosion resistance is critical.
