Semih Metals is the leading supplier and manufacturer of Stainless Steel 420 Bars and Rods. We specialize in providing high-quality, durable, and corrosion-resistant stainless steel products for a wide range of applications. Our 420 bars and rods are carefully crafted to meet stringent quality standards, ensuring superior performance in industries such as automotive, medical, and manufacturing. With our extensive expertise and commitment to excellence, we are your trusted partner for stainless steel solutions that stand the test of time.
Stainless Steel 420 Bars and Rods primarily consist of 12-14% chromium, with small amounts of carbon (0.15% max), manganese (1%), silicon (1%), and trace elements like phosphorus and sulfur. This composition enhances its hardness, corrosion resistance, and ability to be hardened by heat treatment. Mechanically, Stainless Steel 420 offers a tensile strength of approximately 700-750 MPa and a yield strength of around 450 MPa. It has a hardness range of 50-55 HRC when heat-treated, making it ideal for applications requiring high wear resistance and durability.

Stainless Steel 420 Bars and Rods are known for their excellent hardness, corrosion resistance, and wear resistance. They are a high-carbon steel that can be heat-treated for maximum hardness and are ideal for applications that require strength and durability, such as cutlery, surgical instruments, and valve parts.
Stainless Steel 420 has higher carbon content compared to other grades like 304 or 316, which allows it to be hardened through heat treatment. This makes it particularly suitable for applications that demand high strength, hardness, and wear resistance, although it may not offer the same corrosion resistance as other austenitic grades.
Stainless Steel 420 is commonly used in the manufacturing of cutlery, surgical instruments, automotive components, and valves due to its excellent hardness, strength, and resistance to corrosion.
We specialize in supplying Stainless Steel 420 Bars and Rods, known for their excellent hardness and corrosion resistance. These materials are ideal for applications requiring high wear resistance and strength, including cutlery, surgical instruments, and industrial blades. Their ability to withstand harsh environments makes them suitable for valves, pump parts, and automotive components. With their heat-treatable properties, Stainless Steel 420 is perfect for applications in the aerospace and manufacturing sectors, where durability and precision are crucial. We provide high-quality bars and rods to meet the specific needs of various industries worldwide.

We provide products that come with both mill test certificates and third-party test certificates, ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance.
