Nimonic 75 is a nickel-chromium-cobalt alloy that’s enhanced with titanium and aluminum, giving it impressive high-temperature performance. Typically, it consists of about 60% nickel, 20% chromium, 15% cobalt, along with trace amounts of titanium and aluminum. This unique blend provides remarkable mechanical properties, including a tensile strength of around 950–1000 MPa, excellent creep resistance, and outstanding fatigue strength at elevated temperatures. Its hardness falls between 35–40 HRC, while it maintains dimensional stability even under thermal stress. The alloy also shows good oxidation resistance up to 800–900°C, making it a reliable choice for extreme conditions where standard stainless steels or nickel alloys might not hold up.
