Monel K500 Forgings consist of roughly 63% nickel and 30% copper, with some aluminum and titanium added for precipitation hardening. This alloy showcases remarkable corrosion resistance in seawater, chemical, and industrial settings, along with impressive strength and toughness. Its mechanical properties include a tensile strength of about 965 MPa, a yield strength of around 690 MPa, and excellent resistance to fatigue and creep, even in extreme temperatures. Plus, the alloy remains non-magnetic in both annealed and aged states, making it perfect for critical engineering applications.
