They cater to a diverse global clientele across industries like aerospace, marine, oil and gas, and power generation, positioning themselves as a dependable partner for tailored Inconel 625 forging solutions that meet specific industrial demands.
Inconel 625 forgings are primarily made up of Nickel (at least 58%), Chromium (20–23%), Molybdenum (8–10%), and Niobium (3.15–4.15%), along with trace amounts of iron, titanium, and aluminum. This alloy is renowned for its outstanding resistance to oxidation and corrosion, even in the harshest environments. Its mechanical properties boast a tensile strength of about 930 MPa, a yield strength of around 517 MPa, and an elongation of 30%, which together provide impressive strength and flexibility. Inconel 625 maintains its mechanical integrity across a broad temperature range, making it perfect for high-stress and high-temperature applications where durability and resistance are crucial.

Temperature control during forging of Inconel 625 ensures optimal material properties, preventing brittleness and maintaining its strength and ductility. Proper temperature management also enhances uniformity, reducing defects and improving overall quality.
Inconel 625 Forgings are expensive due to the high cost of raw materials and complex manufacturing processes. Additionally, their workability can be challenging at certain temperatures, requiring specialized equipment and techniques.
To determine if Inconel 625 Forgings meet your needs, compare their material properties with your application requirements and consult with suppliers for tailored solutions.
Inconel 625 forgings find extensive use in industries that require remarkable strength, corrosion resistance, and thermal stability. They are commonly used in aerospace components, including jet engine parts and exhaust systems, as well as marine hardware, nuclear reactors, chemical processing equipment, and offshore oil and gas platforms. Their ability to endure extreme conditions—such as high pressure, corrosive environments, or elevated temperatures—makes them ideal for applications like heat exchangers, valves, pumps, and fasteners. Additionally, Inconel 625’s resilience and weldability make it a great choice for components that come into contact with seawater, acids, and other aggressive substances, ensuring long-lasting performance.
