Alloy composition of C263 bar and rod includes 52% Nickel, 19-21% Chromium, 15-17% Cobalt, 5.0-6.0% Molybdenum, 1.5-2.5% Tungsten, with some Aluminum, Iron, and Titanium. The alloy has shown promise in providing excellent oxidation and corrosion resistance in the high-temperature environment. The mechanical properties were reported as having excellent strength, high fatigue properties, and good weldability. Typically, tensile strength in C263 will be around 130-150 ksi (895-1035 MPa). The yield strength will be near about 80-100 ksi (550-690 MPa). Elongation ranges at a minimum of 20%. It finds widespread application in aerospace and in turbine applications.
